The wise old eagle rambled on as the fawn ate, until a bright, colorful glow caught her eye. She greeted all her friends in the morning, including the great bald eagle. I'd say test that one out before leaping towards this one.The fawn was at the edge of the meadow on a lovely, crisp autumn morning. If you have normal skin, like strong botanical scents, and want to discover a new oil to try, there is another limited edition version from This Works here at Dermstore at little more than half the size and over half the price. Personally, I would not purchase this again since it was not for me. I had weird looks from other patrons when I was studying in a coffee shop because the scent was that strong, and if you ever stayed all day in a cafe bistro, you know there is nothing more potent than the aroma of grounded espresso beans. and it would last all day until I hit the sack at night. I think it's the primrose but I can only describe it as walking around smelling like incense. For those in the mild to no scent camp, definitely do not get this.
What it will do, regardless of your skin type, is produce an overpowering scent upon use. Chances are, the oils will not saturate enough into your skin, and you would have to reapply it throughout the day.
If you have really dry skin (we are talking consistently flaky, cracked, dehydrated skin), don't even bother. I would say if you have normal skin and wish to use it, go ahead, though it isn't any different than a drugstore lotion (other than the smell - see below). Saw some effects, but not anything extraordinary.
Where there was extra product left on my hands, I rubbed it in so to skip using a hand creme. I bought this to use for my arms and legs in the winter and did not see much of an effect if any. My skin type map is all over the place: oily/combo face, the driest of dry arms and legs, and normal neck, torso, and hands. Definitely overpriced for a moisturizing oil.
